Hi there, my name is Mary!  My husband, two dogs and I recently moved to a small farm in rural Virginia.  We don’t have any neighbors close by and I work from home.  After spending almost thirty years working outside my home, it is a little too quiet for me so I thought I would start a blog and talk about all the interesting things that are going on around here.  Hopefully I will keep in touch with old friends and relatives, and make some new friends along the way!
